Job summary

General Parts is actively seeking a Commercial Hot Side Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair gas, electric, steam, and related kitchen equipment. The role requires mechanical aptitude and a focus on safety, with a 40-hour week and on-call nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience, education, or military experience preferred.
• Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
• CFESA Certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen equipment that uses gas, electric, and steam to include grills, ovens, freezers, etc.
• Keeps the customer and branch office updated on repair status and part requests to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Completes appropriate technical and manufacturing training/certification ongoing.
• Adheres company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages truck inventory and keeps service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Heritage standards of excellence.
• Willingness to work 40-hour weekly schedule and on-call nights and weekends as required
