FLANDERS Inc. is seeking a Hot Melt Machine Operator to set up, run, and monitor pleating and filter assembly equipment in our filtration product line. You will ensure products meet specs, quality standards, and safety guidelines while hitting daily targets.

You will load materials, adjust parameters, inspect finished pleats and filters, document production records, and collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of machine operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with pleating or automated assembly equipment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and product specifications.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and monitor pleating or filter assembly machines.
• Adjust machine parameters to meet product specifications.
• Load raw materials and inspect pleats, bonds, and finished filters for defects.
• Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
• Document production records and logs; follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, waste reduction).
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production teams to meet daily output goals.
