Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Machine Operator in Middletown, DE to join its Filtration team. You will safely set up and operate lamination and converting lines to produce high-quality products in accordance with SOPs, production schedules, set-up instructions, and quality specifications.

This role requires 1 year of machine operating experience, mechanical aptitude, and basic math, reading, and writing skills. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work 12-hour shifts, and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Ability to use a ruler or other measurement tools to ensure products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Safely conduct self and job tasks following proper work procedures.
• Perform and document process line conditions.
• Monitor and stock operating supplies as needed or directed.
• Move rolls from Machine using pallet jack to staging locations.
• Collect scrap and waste from process to bale.
• General housekeeping; keep work area and machinery clean and safe.
