Job summary

Donaldson in Dixon, IL, seeks a Machine Operator to produce pleated media and feed it into filter assemblies. You will operate pleating equipment, read blueprints, perform quality checks, and work within a safety‑conscious manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to operate computer systems.
• Ability to utilize gauges, calipers, indicators, scales, and tape measures.
• Exhibit mechanical aptitude.
• Adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pleating machines and understand associated media pleating processes.
• Ensure pleated media meets quality and quantity standards per prints/route sheets.
• Coordinate with material handlers to supply correct media to the line.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and setup sheets.
• Complete paperwork such as scrap reports and usage sheets.
• Monitor production and notify Team Leader of rate variations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies; use PPE.
