Job summary

AIS Commercial Parts & Service, a Tech24 company, is seeking experienced Hot & Cold Technicians to diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems in Cleveland, OH. You will deliver exceptional customer service while keeping downtime to a minimum.

The role emphasizes diagnosing ovens and refrigeration units, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work thoroughly. On-call rotation and safety compliance are part of the job.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Climb ladders, work from heights, and lift 50+ lbs in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operation.
• Document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in the company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism and high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
