Job summary

Tech24 in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Hot & Cold Technician to service, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems. You will deliver high-quality customer service, document work, and participate in ongoing training.

The role requires 3-5+ years in the field, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Company vehicle and benefits are provided; weekly pay and on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and crawl in tight quarters.
• Own industry standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, combi-ovens, mixers, dishwashers, etc.)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, low boys, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities
