UST – A Tech24 Company in California is seeking a Hot & Cold Technician to service and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment. The role emphasizes diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing hot-side and cold-side systems while delivering exceptional customer service on each call.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in commercial foodservice or refrigeration repair, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, mixers, dishwashers, hot cases, etc.).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, undercounter coolers, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
