Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician with experience in both hot-side cooking equipment and cold-side refrigeration. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining ovens, fryers, steamers, walk-ins, coolers, and ice machines, while ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship.

You will read diagrams, document findings, and communicate professionally with customers.

Qualifications

Hands-on service experience with hot-side and cold-side commercial equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to complete routine service calls independently.
Working knowledge of electrical circuits, equipment controls, gas systems, and refrigeration principles.
EPA Section 608 certification appropriate to the equipment serviced; Universal preferred.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Reliable follow-through, professional communication, and attention to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, ranges, fryers, griddles, steamers).
Service and repair commercial refrigeration equipment (walk-in/reach-in coolers and freezers, prep tables, ice machines).
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, gas, and refrigeration issues.
Perform preventive maintenance to support reliable operation.
Read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and manufacturer specs.
