Job summary

Outback Steakhouse’s Out West Restaurant Group is hiring a friendly Host/Server Assistant in Santa Fe. You will greet guests, seat them, and ensure a smooth handoff to service staff with a welcoming, efficient approach. You’ll learn the menu to recommend items and upsell where appropriate, while maintaining a positive lobby experience.

Focus on teamwork, reliable attendance, and safe sanitation throughout shifts; opportunities include benefits and a supportive hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs; able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Able to walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing duties.

Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression.
• Greeting Guests in a welcoming manner; seating in dining and bar areas; handoff to service staff.
• Coordinating wait times and seating with urgency.
• Always smiling and engaging with Guests.
• General knowledge of menu to recommend and upsell products.
• Answering the phone promptly and directing calls.
• Team player; bussing tables, delivering food and drinks, assisting Guests; WOW moments.
• Lead lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards.
• Commitment to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety and sanitation.
