Main Duties And Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally while creating a welcoming first impression.
• Escort guests to tables while maintaining polished and attentive service standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, specials, restaurant offerings, and hotel amenities.
• Provide personalized assistance for guest requests, dietary needs, and special accommodations.
• Recognize returning guests and assist in creating memorable dining experiences.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all guest interactions.

Reservations & Dining Room Coordination

• Manage reservations accurately using the hotel reservation system.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize dining room flow and operational efficiency.
• Communicate wait times, table availability, and guest accommodations professionally.
• Coordinate with restaurant leadership and service teams regarding VIP guests, allergies, and special events.
• Assist with large party coordination, celebrations, and private dining arrangements.

Operational Excellence

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and guest-facing areas.
• Support the restaurant ambiance by maintaining awareness of lighting, music, and room presentation.
• Communicate effectively with service staff, culinary teams, and leadership regarding operational updates.
• Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and luxury service standards.
• Maintain proper grooming, uniform, and professional presentation standards at all times.
