Job summary

Hyatt Regency Austin, part of the Ripple & Roots concept, seeks a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests and set the tone for their dining experience. You will assist with seating, offer menu recommendations, and provide attentive service, working weekends and holidays as needed.

Strong hospitality and clear communication are essential; a valid Food Handler certificate is required. This role supports creating memorable meals that reflect Hyatt's culture.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Polished and professional verbal communication.
• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Food Handler certification.

As a Ripple & Roots Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, warmly welcoming them and setting the tone for their dining experience.
Your ability to provide a personalized and engaging introduction—whether by offering table accommodations or menu recommendations—will help shape the overall guest experience.
Hosts may also serve as the final touchpoint during a guest’s visit, making your role key in ensuring satisfaction from beginning to end.
If you have experience in customer Your hospitality skills and enthusiasm will contribute to creating memorable moments for our guests.

Afternoon/Evening availability on Friday & Saturday is required for this role.
