Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Dover, DE is seeking a bar staff member to set up and stock bars, maintain ice and beverage supplies, and deliver excellent guest service. The role requires ABC Certification, a DE Service License, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock bars one hour before each function.
• Keep ice bins filled at all times.
• Stock beer coolers and replenish supplies during shift.
• Provide exceptional customer service behind the bars.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.
• Remove trash and recyclables and keep service areas tidy.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Have bars set up and stocked one hour prior to the start of each function.
• Keep ice bins filled at all times.
• Cut all fruit used for garnishes and keep back‑up containers of fruit filled throughout the shift ensuring safety procedures are followed.
• Keep beer coolers stocked.
• Help to replenish and stock supplies throughout the shift, (i.e. cups, straws, napkins, fruit, refill back‑up juices, refill condiments, change soda as needed).
• Empty trash cans.
• Perform general surface cleaning tasks as directed.
• Remove empty bottles and trash using proper recycling procedures.
• Remain professional behind the bars, banquets, or service bars when guests are visible.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with co‑workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Union Representation: This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled.
