Job summary

Spire Hospitality LLC seeks a Host Person to deliver warm, attentive service in our resort restaurant. You will greet guests, assist with reservations, and help maintain a welcoming first impression.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 1 year in a similar host role is preferred, with hotel experience as a plus. This is a full-time position with competitive hourly pay and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year Host Person experience in a similar role.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification preferable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class service with engagement and thoughtfulness.
• Greet guests on arrival and thank them on departure.
• Replenish beverages and condiments, check guest satisfaction regularly.
• Receive, record, and coordinate reservations and special events.
• Assist with rolling silverware, restocking supplies, and maintaining stations.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper functionality of restaurant workstations.
• Lift 50–75 lbs and remain standing/moving during shift.

Essential Job Functions:

• Deliver best‑in‑class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness
• Extend a warm greeting to guests upon arrival and express gratitude for their patronage upon departure
• Continuously replenish beverages and condiments, paying special attention to coffee and tea, while regularly checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction
• Receive, record, and coordinate reservations and special events at the restaurant
• Aid with rolling silverware, replenishing condiments, and restock supplies as needed
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations
• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 1-year Host Person experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Hotel experience preferred
• Food Handlers Certification preferable
