Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is looking for a Foster Care / Host Home Provider in Amarillo, TX. This contract position offers the opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing a safe and supportive home.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, a valid Driver's License, and prior experience in support roles. Providers will receive per-diem compensation along with tax-exempt room and board from individuals they support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver's License necessary.
• Experience as a Direct Support Professional is preferred.

This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.

We are looking for someone in the Amarillo, TX area!

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
