Host Home Provider (Foster Care)

Open your home to someone with a disability! Here is an opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life – become a Foster Care / Host Home Provider. This independently contracted position provides a 24/7 family‑like setting for an individual.

We are looking for someone in the San Antonio, TX area.

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high‑quality life. The candidate must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual they house and support.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Benefits

Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate and receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
