Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is looking for a Foster Care/Host Home Provider in Lubbock, TX, to provide a supportive home environment for individuals with disabilities. This independently contracted role involves meeting the basic physical and emotional needs of the individual and fostering a genuine relationship.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and prior experience as a Direct Support Professional. The position offers a tax-exempt income structure comprising a per-diem rate along with monthly room and board.

This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.

We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
