Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary: The OTG Host at IAH plays a vital role in transforming the airport experience. The host must have strong interpersonal skills, a friendly disposition, and a positive attitude, while adhering to the OTG Core Steps of Service. The goal is to ensure each guest has an outstanding experience by creating a warm and welcoming environment that leaves a lasting impression.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly at the entrance of our establishments.
• Maintain a clean and organized front door area.
• Have solid product knowledge.
• Assist in managing workload among servers.
• Support servers when necessary, while monitoring the entrance.
• Communicate guest concerns and complaints to managers promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance, well-groomed and neat.
• Possess knowledge of the airport, terminal, and restaurant offerings; provide information and recommendations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and floor plan.
• Fluent in English.
• Mobility and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather.
