HEI Hotels and Resorts in Jacksonville invites applications for a full-time host/hostess position at our restaurant location. You will warmly greet guests, manage seating, and support daily dining room operations to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, communicating with the team, handling reservations, and maintaining dining room setup. The role requires friendly, proactive service and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders and similar written materials.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer seating options and escort to table.
• Read, maintain, and log daily communications between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of dining room and assist with reservations and special events.
• Coordinate with team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
