Job summary

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville is hiring a friendly restaurant server to welcome guests, take menu selections and present food and beverage recommendations from our diverse offerings.

The successful candidate will participate in one hour of prep before service, maintain a sanitary work environment and assist with general restaurant duties. Weekend and holiday availability is required; prior serving experience is preferred and tips supplement hourly pay of $11.98.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Submit guest menu selections and present food and beverage preferences.
• Gain menu knowledge and provide recommendations from our cuisine and drink offerings.
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by your service style.
• One hour of prep work prior to restaurant opening time.
• General restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
