Ancho & Agave in Middleton, WI is hiring part-time Hosts to greet guests, assist with reservations, and guide them to tables. If you enjoy delivering friendly, efficient service, you will thrive in our fast-paced dining room.

Applicants must be friendly, hardworking, team oriented, punctual, honest, and comfortable with customer service. Must be available to work consistently, always have a positive attitude and be an excellent communicator.

Host Responsibilities

• Greeting customers
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their tables
• Giving accurate wait time estimates
• Providing menu and answering initial questions
• Optimizing seating to ensure even workload for wait staff
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations
• Side work, station set up, and light restaurant maintenance

Host Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast paced environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings (until 10:00 p.m.) and holiday
• Must be available to work at least 4 hours per scheduled shift
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
