Hollywood Casino Joliet is seeking a friendly host to greet and seat guests and manage reservations in a fast-paced dining environment. You will assist guests with special needs and ensure smooth seating.

The role requires a high school education (preferred) and fluency in English. We offer competitive base salary, benefits from day one, and opportunities for career growth.

Responsabilidades

• Greets and seats guests, takes reservations, and assists guests with special needs.
• Reviews seating assignments and seats new guests according to seating system.
• Anticipates guests arriving and has information before greeting them.
• Greets guests by name, makes them feel welcome, and thanks them for dining with us.
• Inputs date into seating system and follows system recommendations.
• Assists staff in duties as requested.
• Assists guests with special requests or needs.
• Monitors restaurant operations and notifies supervisor of problems or guest comments.
• Ensures menus are clean and contain appropriate panels and information.
• Ensures light levels, music levels, and temperature levels are appropriate.
• Offers a sincere send off and invites guests back.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Performs duties to greet and seat guests, takes reservations, and assists guests with special needs.
• Reviews current guest seating assignments and seats new guests according to seating system in each station.
• Anticipates guests coming in and has this information before greeting each guest.
• Greets guests by name whenever possible, makes guest feel welcome, sincerely conveys appreciation for choosing to dine with us, and ushers to the appropriate table.
• Inputs necessary date into seating system and adheres to seating system recommendations.
• Assists staff in duties as requested.
• Assists guest with special requests or needs.
• Monitors restaurant operations, notifying the supervisor of problems, needs, or guest comments.

• Ensures light levels, music levels, and temperature levels are perfect and adjusts accordingly.
• Offers a sincere send off to each guest (“Good night, thank you for coming in,”“Good luck”) and welcomes them back (“Come back soon”).

• Equivalent to a High School education with knowledge of food service is preferred.
• Must understand and speak the English language fluently.
