Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall is hiring for a guest-focused role in Kentucky. You will greet guests, handle payments at the cash register, and restock supplies while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will upsell products, support teammates, and provide Big Service to ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Qualified applicants are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and must pass background checks.

• Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food handling practices.


• Maintain a solid knowledge of all food products and ensure all products are properly rotated.


• Completes all daily side work as assigned by management


• Receives inventory, moves, and lifts product and places items in the appropriate location or storage areas.


• Ensures proper food handling and product procedures are followed to include wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products as required.


• Report any product or stock needs immediately to kitchen management.


• Safely use all kitchen equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products in accordance with all SDS sheets and departmental standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.


• Must be 18 years of age or older.


• Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.


• Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.


• Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
