Job summary
The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, Kentucky is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, along with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an accounting role. The candidate must be 21 or older and eligible for a Kentucky gaming license.

Managing and directing the accounts payable processes and procedures, including ensuring all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable and all invoices are paid timely.
Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
Assist VP of Accounting and the Director of Accounting to coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
Participates in numerous special projects including Live Racing, Derby and special events and other duties as assigned.
To provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
Develops and maintains professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guest, and vendors.
The ability and willingness to ensure that work activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
The ability to work safely. This includes clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.
Maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the workday.

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
3 - 5 years supervisor experience required in an accounting role.
