Job summary

Pinstripes in Washington, DC is seeking a Host to deliver memorable guest service in an upscale dining and entertainment venue featuring Bistro, Bowling, and Bocce. The role includes taking reservations, seating guests, answering questions, and collaborating with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Flex hours are available, with competitive hourly pay of $18.00–$20.00. Training is provided to set you up for success from day one, and growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Prior guest-facing or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for up to 6 hours.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides memorable guest service.
• Accurately takes reservations over the phone and in person.
• Able to answer questions about Pinstripes and the guest experience.
• Check in guests and seat them appropriately.
• Work together with team members to operate the restaurant efficiently.
• Offer suggestions and recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Help personalize the experience for guests.
• Process payment.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Neat in appearance; follow uniform and grooming guidelines.

You will tend to guests in a unique and upscale entertainment-dining venue offering a Bistro, Bowling, and Bocce. Serving Italian/American cuisine out of our scratch kitchen, an extensive wine list, local craft beers, and thoughtful handcrafted cocktails

It is preferable to have previous restaurant experience, but it is not required. Our training program will set every team member up to be successful from the start.

What you’ll be doing as our Host:

• Provides memorable guest service
• Accurately takes reservations over the phone and in person
• Able to answer questions about Pinstripes and the guest experience
• Check in guests and seat them appropriately
• Work together as a cohesive team with other team members to ensure that the restaurant is operated efficiently
