Job summary

Pinstripes in Beachwood, OH is seeking an energetic Host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and seat guests to create a memorable dining and entertainment experience.

You'll work with a friendly team in our upscale venue offering Bistro, Bowling, and Bocce, and you must be able to stand up to 6 hours while delivering outstanding service.

No prior restaurant experience is required; training will set you up for success, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand for up to 6 hours and maintain a neat appearance.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide memorable guest service and assist guests with reservations over the phone and in person.
• Seat guests and ensure smooth flow of the dining room.
• Answer questions about Pinstripes and the guest experience; work with the team to operate efficiently.
• Process payments and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Provide personalized service and recommendations to guests and collaborate with team members.

You will tend to guests in a unique and upscale entertainment-dining venue offering a Bistro, Bowling, and Bocce. Serving Italian/American cuisine out of our scratch kitchen, an extensive wine list, local craft beers, and thoughtful handcrafted cocktails

It is preferable to have previous restaurant experience, but it is not required. Our training program will set every team member up to be successful from the start.

What you'll be doing as our Host:

• Provides memorable guest service
• Accurately takes reservations over the phone and in person
• Able to answer questions about Pinstripes and the guest experience
• Check in guests and seat them appropriately
• Work together as a cohesive team with other team members to ensure that the restaurant is operated efficiently
• Offer suggestions and recommendations based on guest preferences
• Help personalize the experience
• Process payment
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 6 hours
• Must always be neat in appearance and follow uniform and grooming guidelines
