Job summary

They are responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, seating guests efficiently, and ensuring smooth communication between the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Relations

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcome.
• Manage waitlists and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests professionally.
• Communicate with guests about any delays or accommodations needed.

Reservation & Seating Management

• Manage the reservation system and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Balance seating assignments to optimize server efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor table turnover and ensure smooth transitions between parties.
• Assist with walk‑ins and coordinate seating based on availability.

Coordination & Communication

• Act as a liaison between guests, servers, and management.
• Communicate special requests, VIP guests, or dietary restrictions to the appropriate staff.
• Support service flow by updating staff on table status and availability.

General Duties

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk, entrance, and waiting area.
• Assist with answering phone calls and handling to‑go orders if required.
• Uphold restaurant standards for hospitality, professionalism, and service.
• Support team members during peak service periods as needed.

Physical Requirements
