Job summary

SKANEATELES FIELDS RESORT & SPA, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is a 89-room resort in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes. As Restaurant Host you will be the first point of contact for dining guests, greet arrivals, manage reservations, and support the smooth flow of service.

Open availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays is required. Prior host experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon arrival
• Maintain an organized waitlist and manage guest flow during busy service periods
• Provide accurate wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible
• Call out parties when tables become available and escort guests to their tables
• Seat guests in a manner that balances guest preferences and server sections
• Assist with maintaining a clean and tidy dining room, including clearing and resetting tables
• Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth dining operations

Skaneateles Fields Resort & Spa, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton™, is currently hiring for a Restaurant Host. As the first point of contact for our dining guests, the Restaurant Host/Hostess sets the tone for a warm and welcoming experience. You’ll manage reservations, greet guests, and support the seamless flow of service within the restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who loves hospitality, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
