Job summary

Skaneateles Fields Resort & Spa, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is hiring Line Cooks to join our lakefront kitchen in Skaneateles, NY. Produce, prepare and present dishes with care in a fast-paced setting while upholding our high standards.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of full-service restaurant experience and scratch cooking skills, plus the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess a positive attitude.
• At least 2 years of full-service restaurant experience and scratch cooking skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Production, preparation and presentation of food in the restaurant
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations in a quality manner
• Patience with an ability to stay positive under pressure
• Must possess culinary knowledge and skills with a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to describe all dishes on the menu
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
• A team player with good communication skills
