Job summary

Wet Willie's in Silverdale, WA seeks a friendly host to warmly greet guests, manage seating with Spinnaker, and coordinate with servers to balance flow.

You will take to-go orders, enter them in the POS, handle payments, and keep the lobby and restrooms clean. Open availability including nights and weekends is required to support a busy dining room.

Job description

Learn and follow Silver City's values and SOP's.

Provide a warm, and genuinegreeting toall guests immediately upon arrival.

Utilize Spinnakertable management system toeffectivelyseat guestsbased on preference, balance of guest flow amongst servers, and guest count.

Page and/or call guests by name and amount in party as tables become available.

Provide guests withcurrent wait times, constantly update wait times as determined by guest flow, and anticipate and plan for table availability based on the size of theparty and seating preference.

Clean and maintain lobby area

Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.

Inspect restroom every 30 minutes, clean and re-stock as needed.

Take to-go orders on the phone andenter into the POS system accurately.

Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.

Take food and beverage orders from guests and enterintothe POS system accurately.

Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change.

When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.

Communicate with servers and bussers to ensure efficient seating and table utilization.

Perform side work and cleaning at the start and end of each shift.

Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Maintain the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities and requests.

Must to able to maintain a professional and neat appearance.

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).

Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
