Job summary

Wet Willie's in Silverdale is seeking a friendly, reliable dishwasher to support our kitchen team. You will remove dirty dishes, reset tables, and help with side work during peak periods.

No previous restaurant experience required; must be able to stand for several hours and lift up to 40 pounds. Excellent communication with guests and crew is valued.

Qualifications

• No previous restaurant experience required but is preferred.
• Be able to communicate with and understand our guests, crew members and management.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirty plates, silverware and glassware from tables and reset table tops.
• Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booth seats; inspect floor and clean as required.
• Transport dirty dishware to dishwasher and place in designated areas.
• Inspect restroom every 30 minutes, clean and restock as needed.
• Communicate guest requests to servers or manager and assist during peak periods.
• Ensure the dish area is organized and space is available for dirty dishware.
• Thank guests as they are leaving and perform side work at start/end of shift.
• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.

Learn and Follow Silver City's Valuesand SOP's

Remove dirty plates, silverware& glassware from tables.

Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booth seats. Inspect floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.

Transport dirty dishware to dishwasher and place in designated areas.

Inspect restroom every 30 minutes, clean and re-stockas needed.

Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to aserver or manager.

Communicate with servers and hosts to ensure efficient seating and table utilization.

Assist servers, expos and DMO'sas needed during peak periods.

Ensure the dish area is organized and space is available for dirty dishware.

Thank guests as they are leaving.

Perform side work and cleaning at the start and end of each shift as required.

Fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, oras directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
