Big Fish in Myrtle Beach is looking for a host to be the first point of contact for guests at their new seafood and American restaurant. The role involves welcoming guests, managing the wait list, and coordinating with staff during busy nights. The ideal candidate should have a warm personality, customer service experience, and the ability to handle busy environments. This is an opportunity to be part of the opening team with flexible scheduling and a clear path to advancement.

Qualifications

• Host, retail, or customer service experience helps — we'll train the right personality.
• Warm, professional, energetic at the door.
• Organized — you can hold a 90‑minute wait in your head without losing your cool.
• Comfortable with reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms — we'll train on whichever we pick).
• Clear on the phone and in person.
• Open for nights, weekends, holidays.
• Can stand and walk for long shifts.

Big Fish is a new seafood and American restaurant opening at Broadway at the Beach. Great food, relaxed room, live music, sports on every screen.

The host stand is the first thing every guest sees. We need warm, sharp, organized people who can run a busy door without losing the welcome.

The job

You're the front door. Greet every guest, manage the wait, seat the dining room, keep the flow of a busy night moving. You'll run the floor plan, work the book, and partner with managers and servers to balance sections and turn tables. On big nights — live music, games, summer weekends — the host stand is mission‑critical, and we'll train you on every bit of it.
