Job summary

Big Fish, a new seafood and American restaurant located at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, is seeking enthusiastic servers to join their opening team. You'll be the face of Big Fish, engaging guests with the menu and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of serving experience, a love for seafood and American cuisine, and be reliable. Enjoy flexible scheduling and the potential to grow within the team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to serve alcohol in South Carolina (18+).
• Capacity to stand and carry trays for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and understand their dining needs.
• Sell menu items confidently, including daily specials.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Keep the dining section clean and stocked.

About Big Fish

Big Fish is a new seafood and American restaurant opening at Broadway at the Beach. Great food, relaxed room, live music, sports on every screen. Families welcome at 6, locals through close.

We're building the opening team and we want servers who want a strong section, great tips, and a fun place to work.

The job

You're the face of Big Fish. Walk guests through the menu, deliver food and drinks with care, and make sure every table — a family of six on vacation or two locals before the game — has a great time. The menu is approachable but we take it seriously, and we'll train you on every bit of it.

Day to day

• Greet guests warmly and read the table — quick bite or long night?
• Sell the menu with confidence — daily catch, oysters, bar, chef's specials
• Accurate orders, good timing, clear with the kitchen and the bar
• Check back, take care of problems before they become problems
• Cash and card handling, accurate checkout every shift
• Side work, station setup, shift change
• Keep your section clean, stocked, and ready

You

• 1+ year serving in full-service (high-volume is a plus)
• You know seafood and American food, or you want to learn fast
• You like taking care of people
• You stay cool on a Saturday-night rush
• Open for nights, weekends, holidays
• Reliable and on time
• 18+ to serve alcohol in SC
• You can stand and carry trays for an 8-hour shift
