Qualifications

• Host, retail, or customer service experience helps — we'll train the right personality.
• Warm, professional, energetic at the door.
• Organized — you can hold a 90‑minute wait in your head without losing your cool.
• Comfortable with reservation systems (OpenTable, Resy, SevenRooms — we'll train on whichever we pick).
• Clear on the phone and in person.
• Open for nights, weekends, holidays.
• Can stand and walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest warmly — eye contact, smile, real welcome.
• Manage the wait list, quote honest wait times, keep guests in the loop.
• Run the floor plan, rotate sections fairly.
• Take and manage reservations and big‑party requests.
• Answer the phone professionally and handle guest questions.
• Walk guests to the table, drop menus, set up the experience.
• Coordinate with servers and managers during rushes.
• Keep the host stand, menus, and entry clean and organized.
• Say goodbye to every guest — last impression matters too.
