Job summary

Major Food Group LLC is hiring a Host at ZZ's Club in Miami, a private membership venue renowned for its culinary and hospitality excellence. The role requires greeting guests, guiding seating, answering menu questions, and maintaining service flow to ensure a flawless guest experience.

Experience in upscale dining is preferred. Candidates should be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, stand for long periods, and assist with to-go orders as needed. Competitive benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
• Takes names on a waiting list and runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Major Food Group is hiring a Host to join our team at ZZ's Club.

A private membership club by Major Food Group that originated in Miami, ZZ's Club is an exclusive, modern social space designed for those individuals who appreciate the highest caliber of culinary, hospitality and entertainment. We are a home away from home for our members, a distinguished clientele that expects precise execution and exquisite attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of special catch and soups.
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
• Takes names on a waiting list.
• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
• Fills to-go orders, if applicable.
• Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
• Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.
• Performs other duties as directed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred but not required
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
• Proficient or ability to learn computer skills including POS systems, OpenTable, Word and Excel.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude
