Bayshore Club in Coconut Grove is seeking a friendly Host to join a world-class team at our waterfront restaurant. You will greet guests, assist with reservations, and guide them to seating while maintaining smooth flow during peak hours.

Applicants should have OpenTable experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior hospitality customer service experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in hospitality.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and phone etiquette.
• Flexible for alternating shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• OpenTable experience required.
• Must have strong OpenTable background with full availability.
• Host experience at large restaurants (300+ seats) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Assist guests with reservations and guide them to their tables.
• Provide accurate wait times and seat guests accordingly.
• Provide menus and answer initial questions from customers.
• Optimize seating to balance workload among staff.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations, including large parties.

• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staff
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties

Skills & Qualifications:
