Job summary

Kolter Hospitality seeks a Host to deliver service excellence to guests in our restaurant. You will greet guests from the moment they arrive and assist with seating, reservations, and multi-tasking to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Ideal candidates will communicate clearly, maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, and support the team in daily operations. Training and growth opportunities within Kolter Hospitality are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to greet guests warmly and provide attentive service.
• Strong communication to coordinate seating and reservations.
• Ability to handle phones courteously and efficiently.
• Comfort with cash handling procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take guest reservations or add to waiting list, reflecting restaurant availability.
• Take guests to their seats and notify server.
• Answer phones in a courteous and timely manner.
• Possess knowledge of menus and applicable specials.
• Buss all tables removing soiled dishes after each course when requested by server.
• Assist food and beverage team members as situations arise.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests.
• Perform opening and closing procedures along with side work as assigned.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures, cash bank reconciliation and end-of-shift drop.
• Report items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
