Job summary

Kaskaid Hospitality is seeking an energetic host for our busy Eden Prairie dining room. This hourly role includes greeting guests, checking in parties, answering phones, taking reservations, and coordinating with servers to ensure a smooth service.

You will maintain clean menus and host stand, manage OpenTable reservations, and help create a positive dining experience for every guest. Flexibility with shift times is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for checking in all employees and highlighting on the Open Table system.
• Answer the phone, take reservations, and take takeout orders.
• Ensures menus are clean and organized.
• Greet, check in and seat guests.
• Print any special chits off open table with special instructions hand off to server upon their checking in.
• Review all of the open table reservations and map out the plan for the shift.
• Utilize open table to make sure to capture important information about guests.
• Work with manager on the floor to ensure the proper wait time.
• Ensure restrooms and the host stand are clean, stocked and organized.
• Interacts with guests to ensure positive dining experience.

Position Type / Expected Hours Of Work

This is an hourly paid position. Days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. Business operates seven (7) days a week; and hours start as early as 9 AM and can go as late as 10 PM depending on the work required.

Work Culture

This role will require fast paced service done with a smile and a high level of communication with guests, co workers, Managers and Chefs.
