Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Check in all employees and highlight them on the Open Table system.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and process take–out orders.
• Ensure menus are clean and organized.
• Greet, check in, and seat guests.
• Print special reservation chits from Open Table and hand them to servers upon guest check‑in.
• Review all Open Table reservations and map out the plan for the shift.
• Use Open Table to capture important information about guests.
• Work with management on floor to ensure proper wait times.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of restrooms and host stand.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.

Position Type / Expected Hours Of Work

This is an hourly paid position. Days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. The business operates seven (7) days a week; hours can start as early as 9 AM and continue as late as 2 AM depending on needs.
