Job summary

Waialae Country Club is seeking a Part-Time Host to warmly welcome members and guests, assist with seating, and help manage the dining room flow.

Working in the Food & Beverage department, you will handle reservations, answer inquiries, and support opening/closing tasks. The role requires 1–3 months related experience and strong communication skills. Weekend and holiday availability is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcomes members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Assists with seating guests and providing menus.
• Oversees online reservation system and assists with making reservations in-person, by phone, and by email.
• Monitors and directs the flow of traffic in the dining room.
• Responds to member and guest inquiries.
• Assists with opening, closing, and side duties as needed.

Shifts

• Daytime Host: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Tuesdays - Sundays.
• Evening Host: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesdays - Sundays.

Requirements

• Must have 1-3 months of related experience. Previous food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Starting Pay Rate

$18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.
