Job summary

Waialae Country Club in East Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks an experienced bartender for a part-time role in the Food & Beverage department. You will mix drinks, engage with members, and support a high-service environment.

Starting pay ranges from $24 to $26 per hour, with a no-tipping policy but eligibility for a service charge. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, vacation, and golf privileges.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a front bar bartender/server.
• Basic knowledge of all forms of alcohol, wine and beverages.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and lift a full beer keg for rotation.

Position: Bartender

Status: Part-Time (20-29 hours per week)

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage/Food & Beverage Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Mixes, prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provides excellent service by engaging with members/guests and ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar area; and adheres to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a front bar bartender/server.
• Must have basic knowledge of all forms of alcohol, wine and beverages.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and lift a full beer keg for rotation.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Starting Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience. Waialae Country Club has a no-tipping policy; however, this position is eligible to earn a service charge.
