Job summary

Workstream in Charlotte, NC is seeking a confident, energetic Host to greet guests, seat them, and help create an exceptional dining experience. You will maintain the wait list, communicate specials, and ensure a smooth flow from seating to service.

You should be reliable with transportation, pass a background check, and be flexible with shifts. Training will cover TIPS certification and opening/closing duties; opportunities to learn and grow within a welcoming family restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests (especially 1st time guests protocols)
• Maintains a timely restaurant wait list
• Communicates features and promotions
• Delivers food to tables
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining room, and restrooms
• Assists in taking orders and togo guest payments when needed
• Performs daily opening and closing duties
• Communicates restaurant operational needs to managers
• Maintains a helpful, productive working relationship with the DMO
• Participates in and maintains positive relationships across FOH and BOH teams
• Participates in ongoing restaurant training and scheduled restaurant events

Requirements:

• Reliable Transportation

• Flexibility of Schedule
• TIPS certification (at completion of training)

Qualifications:

• Is willing to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
• Has physical stamina for minimum 6 hour shift
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to train individuals
• Learner/Coachable
