Job summary

Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants & Hotels' Print Works Bistro in Greensboro, NC is seeking a friendly, energetic Host/Greeter to welcome guests in a fast-paced dining room. This position offers both full-time and part-time hours and the chance to grow within a hospitality-driven team.

You will manage seating, guide guests from entrance to tables, coordinate with the front desk, and assist with to-go orders while upholding cleanliness and guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Schedule availability including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service and ensure guests have a delightful experience.
• Smoothly greet guests and seat them, coordinating with front desk to ensure seating flow.
• Manage to-go orders from start to finish and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Provide knowledge of menu items, Chef features, wine offerings and other beverages.

What are the responsibilities of a Host?

• Provide prompt, friendly, attentive service while ensuring that each guest has a delightful experience
• Ensure that each guest has a smooth, seamless transition from the front door to their tables
• Clear and reset tables while keeping the front desk informed and up-to-date
• Handle to-go orders from start to finish ensuring that all details are correct and that the order is completed in a timely manner
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with our guests
• Advocate for our responsible alcohol beverage service program
• Have a working knowledge of the restaurant's menus, including Chef features, extensive wine offerings and other specialty drinks
• Passionately maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety at all times
