Job summary

Snooze South End is seeking a friendly Host to create a warm welcome and seamless dining experience in Charlotte, NC. You will manage seating, greet guests, and help with to-go orders, all while keeping the dining area tidy and inviting.

Ideal candidates are energetic, can stand for long periods, and are comfortable using iPad POS systems. We offer competitive hourly pay, benefits, and a team‑oriented environment to grow with Snooze.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Snooze service and standards.
• Able to stand for up to 9 hours.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• At least 17 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
• Prior experience recommended, not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome guests and thank them as they leave.
• Seat guests promptly and manage waitlist via iPad system.
• Answer phones and take to-go orders; enter into POS.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate with servers.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and e effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
