Job summary

LAZ Parking is hiring a Valet Attendant in Chicago. You’ll be the first and last face customers see, delivering a warm welcome and professional service. The role includes greeting guests, issuing valet tickets, and guiding cars safely through the pickup process.

Shifts include AM, PM and Overnight. A valid driver's license and strong customer service are required; basic MS Office skills and English proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience.
• Valid driver's license required with 2+ years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehends the English language.
• Ability to drive a standard transmission is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
• Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.
• Provide each customer with a valet ticket and provide an explanation of the retrieval process.
• Promote awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, make them love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you.
• Park and retrieve cars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Open and close doors for every customer upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage from vehicle and to vehicle as necessary.
• Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face!

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Valet Attendant look like?

People

• Welcome guests upon arrival and departure.

• Engine off, keys out - turn off each car and remove keys.
• Park and retrieve cars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

• Assist guests with luggage from vehicle and to vehicle as necessary.
• Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face!

What would we like you to bring to the team?

Physical Demands

• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
