Job summary
NELSON Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Technical Designer II to join our Hospitality Practice. This role focuses on construction documentation, design development, and drawing production across all project phases, collaborating with the project team to deliver quality work.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industry experience, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign. Hospitality project experience such as hotels, resorts, spa and wellness, and entertainment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Highly proficient in both Revit and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Photoshop and/or InDesign preferred.
- Must be deadline-oriented and detail-focused.
- Experience on Hospitality projects such as hotels, spas, casinos, and entertainment venues.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications.
- Update design documents and incorporate redlines as needed.
- Assist team with field surveys and design process.
- Plot and prepare drawings for digital transmission to consultants, clients, or contractors.
- Maintain project files and assist in budgeting and scheduling basics.
