Job summary

NELSON Worldwide, LLC is hiring an Interior Designer II for the Hospitality Practice in the United States. The designer will support the project team with design development, drawing production, and admin tasks across hospitality projects such as hotels, resorts, spa and wellness, F&B, casinos and experiential destinations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong Revit, AutoCAD, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited University required.
• 5+ years’ experience in Interior Design/Architecture preferred.
• Public project experience with States, Counties, or Cities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and prepare drawings for design phases.
• Update design documents for all levels of designers.
• Develop solutions to design problems following standards.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation drawings and build client review models.
• Participate in design charrettes, client meetings, and site visits.
• Assist with programming, schematic phases, budgets and schedules.
