Job summary

NELSON Worldwide is seeking a Technical Designer II to join our Hospitality Practice. The role supports project documentation and design development across hotel, resort, spa, and entertainment projects, collaborating with the team to advance construction documents and drawings.

Ideal candidates bring strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, attention to detail, and a track record of delivering hospitality interiors from concept through construction, while thriving in a team oriented, client focused

Qualifications

• ,"Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or related field."
• "5+ years of relevant industry experience."
• "Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD."
• "Familiarity with Photoshop and/or InDesign."
• "Deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail."
• "Experience on Hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, and entertainment destinations."

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
• Update design documents and incorporate “red lines” as needed
• Plot and prepare drawings for digital transmittance to consultants, clients and/or contractor
• Log Shop Drawings and assist in Shop Drawing comment translation
• Follow NELSON standards and guidelines in the preparation of deliverables
• Provide project administrative back-up (make copies, scanning documents, prepare packages for shipping, etc.) as required
