Job summary

Safta’s Table in New Orleans’ Lakeview neighborhood is hiring a Service and Support Team Member to create a warm, welcoming guest experience. You may rotate through cashier, runner, busser, beverage station, and table maintenance to help keep service smooth and friendly.

As part of a close-knit team, you’ll greet guests, deliver orders, maintain a clean dining area, handle cash or card transactions, and communicate with the kitchen and leadership to ensure memorable hospitality for every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Friendly, approachable, and guest-focused
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Willingness to learn and take direction with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and positivity
• Deliver food and beverages to guests efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a clean and inviting dining area, including wiping and resetting tables
• Refill self-serve items such as sauces, utensils, and water stations
• Answer guest questions about the menu and provide helpful recommendations
• Operate the register and handle cash or card transactions with accuracy and professionalism
• Monitor the flow of the café to anticipate guest needs and support team members
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness at service stations and throughout the space
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and leadership team to ensure smooth service
• Provide all other duties, as assigned
