Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation is seeking energetic, adaptable, and hospitality-focused team members to support daily operations at the Medora, North Dakota location. Roles include service in the Café, Welcome Center, Museum Store, and light custodial tasks.

Shifts vary by business needs and peak season is May through September. Candidates should enjoy working with people, be eager to learn new skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality, retail, food service or guest services experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages and light food offerings.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Welcome visitors and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with admissions, guest information, and wayfinding.
• Answer questions and help guests navigate the Library.
• Create a positive first impression for every visitor.
• Process retail transactions accurately.
• Assist guests with merchandise selections and purchases.
• Restock merchandise and maintain attractive displays.
• Support inventory organization and store presentation.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming public spaces.
• Restock guest-facing supplies as needed.
• Perform light custodial duties.
• Assist with other operational needs as assigned.
