Job summary

The Bancroft Chophouse is seeking a reliable Server Assistant to support our front of house team in providing exceptional hospitality and service to our guests. This role involves setting up tables, assisting servers with food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean dining area.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with seating, refilling water, delivering orders, and maintaining knowledge of menu items to make recommendations.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and assist servers with food and beverage service.
• Greet guests and assist with seating as needed.
• Refill water glasses and clear plates throughout the meal.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to tables.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including wiping tables and chairs and sweeping floors.
• Know menu items and specials and be able to recommend to guests.
